A Swedish speciality coffee roastery with a wide variety of premium coffees, located just outside of Stockholm, provides ARKET CAFÉ with fantastic coffee, every day.
Founded in 2004, Johan & Nyström is an award-winning Swedish speciality coffee roastery and merchant. Their ambition is to offer ‘better coffee to the people’, meaning they want as many people as possible to drink the best coffee possible.
They work with direct trading in close cooperation with individual producers, travelling to find and meet those who share their ambition and values in terms of quality. Third-party assessments of the producers are conducted through an NGO (non-governmental organisation) called Enveritas to verify that farmers meet the requirements related to the global Sustainable development goals.
The selection of coffee beans is carefully curated and varies based on season and harvest, always with the intention of full transparency from plant to cup. The beans are slow roasted, a method that allows the coffee to develop fully and roast evenly, ensuring each coffee reaches its full potential.
