MEN Summer tailoring

Our Spring/Summer 2020 collection includes a new range of softly tailored suits for the warm summer months. Cut from premium Italian fabrics made with natural materials such as linen, cotton, hemp and wool, these are our favourite suits for the months to come.

the seersucker suit

Pictured above in dark blue, the seersucker suit is woven in tropical wool for an airy summer feel. The blazer features a double-breasted fastening and is left unlined for a softened shoulder line.  Wear the suit with a white T-shirt and dressed-up shoes to blend the worlds of smart and casual.

the cotton and hemp suit

Pictured above in broken white,  the cotton and hemp suit is cut from a beautifully woven fabric that drapes easily. The blazer is a double-breasted design with a shaped waistline, left unlined and not too tight for a relaxed fit. Wear it with a T-shirt and trainers for a casual take on summer tailoring.

The linen suit

Cut with a slim fit, this linen suit features a more tailored shape and is made from a plain weave of pure linen with a slub structure. Linen keeps you cool in warm weather and has great wicking properties. Pictured in beige, the linen suit is perhaps the most casual take on summer tailoring. Dress it up with a shirt and leather shoes.

the hopsack wool suit

The wool hopsack structure is naturally airy and resistant to wrinkles. Part of ARKET’s suit offering since our first collections, this one is a year-round classic as it regulates the body’s temperature. Semi-lined for a more structured look, the blazer features a single-breasted opening. Dress it down with trainers for a relaxed take on formal tailoring.

The beauty of slow flowers

By appreciating the full cycle of a plant’s life and exploring our local environment, we can deepen our connection with nature and find beauty in everything that grows and changes, says Maria Berg, floral designer and head stylist at Rosendal’s Garden in Stockholm.

Materials

Premium recycled cotton

By carefully preserving cotton fibres from textile waste and spinning them with certified organic cotton, Los Angeles-based Circular Systems creates the world’s most premium recycled cotton yarn.

The grid is an essential element of our visual identity. It represents the notion of the archive and is used to organise and display information ranging from the names of plants to fabric weights and different types of materials used in our collections. These nine squares symbolise the separate parts that together form our world, and they are also the areas where we strive to make a difference.
