A detachable storm flap closes over the collar, or comes off entirely for a simpler collar on a milder day. The coat itself is a wool blend with a brushed surface, raglan-cut sleeves, concealed buttoning and slanted welt pockets, fully lined with buttoned tabs at the sleeve ends. The loose fit and full lining are built to be worn through a proper winter, not just the coldest weeks of it, with enough room underneath for a jumper on the coldest days.
