Few garments have been as influential on modern outerwear as the aviator jacket. Originally developed for warmth and protection when air travel was still young, these early designs continue to inspire through their combination of functionality and genuinely good materials. We don't make many leather jackets, so when we find ourselves returning to the category, it's only when we feel there is a clear reason to do so. Crafted from supple lamb leather, this version draws on the detailing of classic aviator jackets through a generous detachable shearling collar, concealed zip fastening and angled welt pockets. The clean silhouette gives it a refined appearance, while the leather will gradually develop its own patina through years of wear.
