The idea for this bag comes from Laila, who wanted to create a simple, roomy tote for everyday use – large enough to carry everything needed for a day out. It is made from softly washed, off-white cotton canvas, echoing the functional detailing found throughout the collection’s workwear-inspired pieces. Drawing on classic tool bags, the tote is designed with several large pockets and finished with a bright green ARKET and Laila Gohar patch at the front. Its generous size and straightforward shape make it easy to simply grab and go, carrying anything you might need. Finished with wide canvas straps, it can be worn over the shoulder or carried by hand.

These trousers are based on a classic five-pocket jeans design, reworked in brushed cotton twill. The fabric is tightly woven from fine yarns, resulting in a super-soft, almost peachy hand feel. The barrel silhouette draws on some of Laila Gohar’s personal favourites from her own wardrobe, bringing together her sensibility and ARKET’s approach in a balanced, sculptural shape.

These trousers are based on a classic five-pocket jeans design, reworked in brushed cotton twill. The fabric is tightly woven from fine yarns, resulting in a super-soft, almost peachy hand feel. The design draws on aprons and functional layering – Laila often wears dresses when cooking – as well as her interest in flat, utilitarian garment patterns. It features a round neckline and a ribbon detail at the back, which can be tied into a bow or left hanging loose at the sides. A subtle slit at the upper back is closed with a button-and-loop fastening, adding a considered finish to the otherwise pared-back construction.
