Right of Withdrawal and Returns

Right of Withdrawal

Under EU consumer protection law, you have the right to withdraw from your contract, which means you may cancel all or part of your purchase for any reason within 14 days from the day you receive your order, unless a statutory exception applies.

 

Returns

We hope you enjoy every purchase, but if you change your mind about something, we also offer you to return full-priced items within 30 days of delivery, sale items within 14 days. This means that you have either a total of 30 or 14 days from the day you receive your order to decide whether you want to return an item.

 

How to Exercise Your Right of Withdrawal

You may exercise your right to withdraw by visiting our return portal here to register your return. Then fill out the return form that came with your order and include it in your package. Without it, we won't be able to process your return.

 

Returning more than one order? You can send them in the same parcel — just include all the relevant returns forms. Note that the return fee is charged per order, not per parcel.

Returning the Goods

After notifying us of your withdrawal:

- You must send back the items without undue delay.

- You may use the return form included in your package.

- You may return items from multiple orders in one package. However, return costs are charged per order, not per parcel.  

 

Damaged or Faulty Goods

If you are returning a faulty item or incorrect item, please indicate this clearly in your return/withdrawal request and fill out and include return form on the delivery form.

 

Refunds

- Your return will take up to 14 days to reach and be processed by us. If it's been longer, please contact Customer service with proof of return, e.g. collection receipt, drop off slip.

- Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless otherwise agreed.

 

Additional information

- Please retain proof of postage until your return has been confirmed.

- If you have lost your return form, you may download a new one here or contact customer service.

Return options

PostNord – 60 SEK 

Attach the self-adhesive PostNord return label, found in your parcel, and take the parcel to a PostNord agent of your choice. Cost of return 60 SEK. 

 

Instabox – 60 SEK  

Attach the self-adhesive Instabox return label, found in your parcel, and book the return through the link you received in the text notification or visit www.instabox.io/returns. Follow the instructions and leave your parcel at the Instabox locker of your choice.  

 

Budbee – 60 SEK 

Book a return through the link received in previous notification from Budbee. Follow the instructions and leave your parcel at the Budbee box of your choice. If you have ordered delivery by Budbee, no return label is needed. The courier will bring a label at pickup. 

 

The cost of 60 SEK will be deducted from the total refunded amount. 

 

In-store collection (Free)

Orders delivered with the “Collect in store option can only be returned to the store where they were collected. 

Store collection

When using Order online – Collect in store, please collect your order within 72 hours.

 

Uncollected orders will be subject to a return fee of 60 SEK. If you’re unable to collect your order in time, please contact customer service for assistance.

Fees for uncollected parcels

If an order is not collected from the pick-up point and is returned to us after several delivery reminders, we will charge a return fee corresponding to the cost of handling and return shipping, amounting to 60 SEK.

 

The cost of 60 SEK will be deducted from the total refunded amount.

Restricitons - candles and fragrance

While our fragrances and candles are tested to ensure that they are safe to use, some contain flammable substances and therefore have special transportation requirements and rules for returns. Please follow these steps:

 

1. The item must be unopened and packed in a box with the LQ Dangerous goods label attached – if you use the original box, then the label is already attached. If you use a different box or the label is damaged, you must print and attach a new one.

 

2. Fill the box with paper or another filler to ensure the product is secured.

 

3. Follow the ARKET returns procedure on your delivery note.

 

Please be aware that if your original order contained multiple items and are returning an item that isn’t dangerous, you must remove the LQ Dangerous goods label from the packaging.

Return of items bought in-store

Items bought in any of our ARKET stores can only be returned in store.  

Your refund

Your return will take up to 14 days to reach and be processed by us. If it's been longer, please contact Customer service with proof of return, e.g. collection receipt, drop off slip.

 

When your return is approved, you will be refunded by the same method of payment used upon your purchase.

 

If you have returned an order where an ARKET ARCHIVE Resale voucher was used, please contact our customer service for assistance with the refund.

What kind of returns do we accept?

We will give you a refund for any returned item provided that it is returned in the same condition as it was upon your receipt. If an item in any way has been damaged, soiled, washed, altered or worn (other than just trying it on), ARKET has the right to make a deduction on your refund with an amount corresponding to the diminished value of the item. Please always treat the products with care.

 

The right of withdrawal and return does not apply to products that are sealed and which are unsuitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene if the seal has been removed. This applies to certain underwear, swimwear, piercing jewellery, and bath and body products.

ARKET products bought elsewhere

Please note that items purchased elsewhere than arket.com cannot be returned to, or refunded by ARKET.
