Nividas, meaning ‘we see’ in Esperanto, is a Stockholm-based company offering a collection of unisex and affordable eyewear.
Stockholm-based Nividas makes affordable, unisex eyewear based on the idea that glasses, like other accessories, need to be adaptable to various occasions and different moods. The frames are cut from cellulose acetate, a synthetic material derived from renewable sources such as wood pulp, and goes through a series of assembling steps such as polishing and grinding by hand. Each frame requires about four months to complete and comes with a polarised CR39 lens. Nividas means ‘we see’ in Esperanto, an international language constructed by a Polish eye doctor in the late 19th century.
