Guide Spring jackets

The transition into spring is an invitation to let go of heavier winter coats, turning instead to lighter layers defined by an understated ease. The silhouettes are typically shorter and constructed with lightweight fabrics for a relaxed and airy feel, making them a versatile choice for everyday wear.

We believe there is no ultimate archetype for a spring jacket because, when it comes to spring cover-ups, there are many distinct classics to choose from. These four styles are our favourite expressions to wear again and again over this year’s spring season.

01  The overshirt

A key transitional piece, the overshirt offers multiple uses during spring as it can be used both as a light jacket or a heavier shirt. This version is washed for a more relaxed feel and the patch pockets give it a modern utilitarian feel.

02  The Harrington jacket

The Harrington jacket is a smart yet easy-to-wear classic. The design features a front zip, side pockets with buttoned flaps and a collar that can be turned either up or down. The tightly woven shell fabric is also water repellent.

03  The cropped car coat

The flattering silhouette of this jacket draws inspiration from the classic car coat, which is usually a knee-length piece. Sewn from a compact weave, it has a roomy fit, a collar and a buttoned front.

04  The relaxed blazer

The semi-constructed blazer is a smart garment that can easily be dressed down for more casual occasions and everyday wear. This version, made from an airy blend of linen and wool, features a subtle tactile quality that gives the jacket a relaxed look.
