Men The swim wardrobe
The most relaxing days of the summer call for well-considered pieces that make dressing and changing a breeze. In the summertime, that means paying careful attention to materials when it comes to choosing what to pick, pack and wear. This edit presents the building blocks of our summer rotation, and the materials we’re choosing for days in and around water.
01 Woven linen
Linen yarns yield naturally breathable fabrics that are a pleasure to wear in the summer. These fabrics wrinkle beautifully, when wet they dry quickly, and they also age gracefully, becoming personal totems that remind of summer days.
Making swimwear from recycled materials has been a priority ever since we launched our brand in 2017. Our supplier Aquafil made it possible as it produces ECONYL®, a high-tech and high-performance yarn made exclusively from waste materials such as discarded fishnets and textile leftovers.
Poplin is a specific type of cotton weave that creates slightly lustrous, crisp fabrics with a fresh feel against the skin. Traditionally used for shirting, this season we embrace its relaxed character by introducing poplin sets, a natural addition to the summer wardrobe.
The most technical fabric in our range of swim shorts is an exclusive creation designed and produced in collaboration with Aquafil and Limonta – an Italian weaving mill established in 1893 known for the high-end quality of their textiles.
