homeware ARKET and CARINA SETH ANDERSSON

Design  This season sees a reintroduction of our collaboration with Swedish designer and craftswoman Carina Seth Andersson, featuring a series of beautifully balanced everyday ceramic pieces for the modern kitchen and home, as well as a unique wool blanket made in collaboration with Klippan Yllefabrik.

Pitcher (2022)
Coffee cup (2022)

'The story behind the wool blankets connects to ARKET in a bit of an unexpected way. I often wear these loose-fit shirts. But since I’m not really a fan of collars, I simply cut them off.' Andersson says. 'One day, I found one of these cut-off collars laying around in my studio. I had tied it into a knot, and there it was – my inspiration. The pattern is really an enlarged image of a knotted collar.'
