Coccoina’s original glue is Italy’s favourite product for arts and crafts, synonymous with quality and user safety. All ingredients and the materials used for the packaging are sourced in Europe and manufactured in the company’s own plant in Italy.
Coccoina is part of Balma, Capoduri & C., a legendary Italian company operating continuously since 1924. Alongside its sister brand, Zenith, producing top-quality staplers, Coccoina glue has been Italy’s favourite product for arts and crafts and is still synonymous with quality and user safety.
The original version, a solid paste sold in a round aluminium tin with a tiny brush tucked in, was promoted with a campaign saying: ‘It is not a drug but a solid glue that amazes and arouses enthusiasm in all who use it’, referring to its sweet almond fragrance and superb adhesive properties. Based on potato starch and glycerine, Coccoina is solvent-free and completely safe, which makes it ideal for children.
All ingredients of the glue and the materials used for the packaging are sourced in Europe and manufactured in the company’s own plant in Italy, setting high environmental standards on each step of the production chain. During the years, the Cocciona line expanded to offer a comprehensive range of glues available in different textures and packaging.
